ohh i see what youre saying here, and yes I did miss type it on both forums. And as for Union's D line being the best i have seen in this area in a long time, Yes they are. a 3 and one record against good opponents has really backed my statement up. Holding a record breaking runningback to half of what other teams have. Holding A double A program to less than anyone has so far this season and only ONE team last season. Lastnight i didnt get to see the game but another victory seems to say that I may be right about what ive said. As for the Grahm comment playing better D than Union, wow really they held richlands to under 24 points? thats news to me. I did not know that. Hmm thanks for informing me.

Actually Johnson was a huge reason for 14 of the 31 points scored on Gate City. So without Johnson Richlands put up 17 points. 7 of those points was in the final minute when GC turned over on downs deep in their own territory. Yes Union gave Richlands a heck of a game but you cant say your defensive line is the best in the area in x amount of years. If you want to campare Ds tell me how many teams held Richlands to just 3 points by halftime last season? There was one but that does not mean much to me. The year before that GC beat Richlands and held Richlands to their lowest score I think that year. Not because they had the better Defense of all the teams that played them but because they had a good ball grinding Offense that kept Richlands O off the field. I guess what I am saying is there is more to holding teams to few points than just the deffense. Just like the GC team this year. They have a pretty good D though it dont look like it due to all the points scored on them. Their D has been on the field for 3/4 of the first 3 games because the O could not move the ball enough to rest the D. BTW I am using GC as an example because I know more about them. Not trying to say they are any better or better than Union. In my opinion if that game was to be played now Union wins. Just hope GC can do some major growing before that game.

what blows my mind, didnt PV SLAM Richlands a few years ago and hold them to 7 points?
So im tired of hearing about all this moral victory bullshit. Union GOT BEAT. They LOST. We combined two of the most storied programs in VHSL history and we sure as fuck are not gonna settle for MORAL FUCKING VICTORIES.
